Bill began his career in financial planning in 1985 when he was the first person hired in the Wilmington, Delaware office of American Express Financial Advisors (formerly IDS). During his 16 years there he helped build the office to 60 advisors and built a top ten District as District Manager. In 1991 Bill was recognized as a Premier Performer, an award given to 25 people across all business units of American Express, Inc.
 
Bill’s practice is specialized in financial, estate and business planning, helping individuals and businesses develop strategies to plan for education, retirement, and facilitating transfer of assets between generations.  Bill earned his Certified Financial Planner™ certification from the College of Financial Planning in Denver, CO in 1988 and he is currently a Registered Representative and an Investment Advisor Representative with NFP Securities, Inc.
 
Bill’s wife, Christa, works for the DuPont Company and his daughter Carey is a student at St. Lawrence University.  They live in Kennett Square, PA.
